Welcome

It is with great honour and pride that I invite you to attend the XIII Traditional Karate World Championships to be hosted by Canada in the beautiful prairie City of Saskatoon, Saskatchewan.

We have a wonderful group of volunteers that are working diligently to create an atmosphere of warmth, hospitality and friendship to make this the best possible experience for the athletes, coaches, officials and delegates attending from all over the world.

Western Canada is known for its friendly people and outstanding hospitality. At the heart of the prairies, Saskatoon exemplifies this spirit. It is a very friendly, clean and small City that will provide an intimate and safe environment for all that attend. Our host hotel is located on the banks of the South Saskatchewan River providing an outstanding scenic view as it sits in the public park that extends along the river.

The three major hotels that we have selected for this event are all within one block of each other, providing the opportunity for friendships to be renewed and new ones made between the teams and countries.

It will be our great pleasure to greet you next year in Canada. It is our intention to use this web site to bring you updates as progress is made and to use it as a means of communication with the organizing committee in order answer all of your questions and attend to all of your needs. Thus making your experience in Canada as enjoyable as possible. So, if you have any questions please do not hesitate to contact us.

See you in October, 2006!

Sincerely,

Rick Jorgensen, Chairman
